Gunderson is currently playing for the USHL's Sioux City Musketeers

Sioux City Musketeers forward Landen Gunderson has committed to the University of Notre Dame, he announced on social media earlier this week.

A product of Plymouth, Minn., Gunderson is in his final year of junior eligibility with the Musketeers where he has collected three goals and 20 points in 14 games.

Drafted by the Madison Capitols in the tenth round of the 2020 USHL Futures Draft, Gunderson has played parts of four seasons in the USHL with the Musketeers, Capitols and Green Bay Gamblers. Over 97 career regular season games, he has put up 50 points.

With Gunderson making the jump to the NCAA next year, he has the skills to jump into the middle of the lineup instantly. A smooth processor who can spot teammates in open ice, Gunderson will fit in well with the Fighting Irish.
