Lukas Sawchyn Commits To Arizona State

Edmonton Oil Kings forward Lukas Sawchyn has committed to Arizona State, it was announced on Monday.

A native of Grande Prairie, Alberta, Sawchyn completed his first WHL campaign with the Oil Kings in 2024-25, where he tallied 55 points (15 goals, 40 assists) in 66 regular season games.

A 2007-born skater, Sawchyn will return to Edmonton for the 2025-26 season before making the jump to the NCAA to join the Sun Devils in 2026-27.
