Woodworth is currently playing for the QMJHL's Drummondville Voltigeurs

Drummondville Voltiegeurs forward Luke Woodworth has committed to Nebraska-Omaha, it was announced earlier this week.

Woodworth, who hails from Bridgewater, N.S., is in his final season of junior eligibility where he has collected seven goals and 31 assists for 38 points in 25 games.

Over parts of five QMJHL seasons with the Voltigeurs, Woodworth has scored 64 goals and added 168 assists for 232 points in 257 career regular season games.

A dynamic player in the 'Q', Woodworth is a great get for Mavericks. As someone who can create scoring chances whenever he touches the puck, Woodworth is someone who will be able to step into the NCAA and produce right off the bat.
