    Erie Otters forward Malcolm Spence has committed to Michigan, it was announced on Monday.

    A native of Mississauga, Ontario, Spence scored 32 goals and recorded 42 assists in 65 regular season games for the Otters this past season.

    Spence is eligible for the 2025 NHL Entry Draft and is ranked as the 17th best North American skater in NHL Central Scouting's final rankings.

    A 2006-born skater, Spence will make the jump to the NCAA and join the Wolverines for the 2025-26 season. He'll make a major impact from day one.
