A few changes occurred in the top ten as we head towards the regionals this week. Take a peek at the updated rankings!

No. 1 University of Michigan, stays at No. 1

Michigan beat Ohio State for the Big Ten Championship on Saturday night 7-3. Captain T.J. Hughes had a three point night with a goal and two assists. The Wolverines play the Bentley University Falcons in the NCAA Tournament Albany Regional on March 27 at 4:30pm CT.

No. 2 University of North Dakota, stays at No. 2

The Fighting Hawks had the night off following last week's NCHC semifinal elimination to University of Minnesota Duluth last Saturday. North Dakota will play Merrimack college in the NCAA Tournament Sioux Falls Regional on March 26 at 7:30pm CT.

No. 3 Michigan State University, stays at No. 3

Michigan State did not play this week after their Big Ten semifinal loss to Ohio State. The Spartans will meet the University of Connecticut in the NCAA Tournament Worcester Regional on March 26 at 12:30pm CT.

No. 4 University of Denver previously at No. 6

The Pioneers captured another NCHC Championship Saturday evening, a 4-3 double overtime thriller. Freshman Kristian Epperson scored the game winning goal 1:54 into the second extra frame. Denver takes on Cornell in the NCAA Tournament Loveland Regional on March 27 at 5pm CT.

No. 5 Western Michigan University, previously at No. 5

Western Michigan got some rest this week after coming up short against Denver in the NCHC semifinal last week. They put their title defense to the test against CCHA Champion Minnesota State Mankato. The Broncos meet the Mavericks in the NCAA Tournament Loveland Regional on March 27 at 5pm CT. 

No. 6 University of Minnesota-Duluth previously at No. 6

The Bulldogs couldn't complete their three goal comeback, being edged out by Denver via a double overtime tally in the NCHC Final. Minnesota Duluth tangoes with Penn State on March 27 at 8pm CT in the NCAA Tournament Albany Regional.

No. 7 Providence College, previously at No. 7

Providence had time to reset this week following their 3-2 overtime loss to Merrimack in the Hockey East semifinal on March 14. The Friars face off against Quinnipiac in the  NCAA Tournament Sioux Falls Regional on March 26 at 4pm CT.

No. 8 Dartmouth College, previously at No. 9

ECAC Champion Big Green slugged their way to conquer their conference. Dartmouth rolled through semifinal opponent Clarkson 4-0 before sqeaking by Princeton 2-1 in overtime to capture the championship. Tim Busconi had two points in those outings, including the clinching goal. To advance, the Big Green must beat the University of Wisconsin when the two teams meet. The matchup is in the NCAA Tournament Worcester Regional on March 26 at 4pm CT.

No. 9 Cornell University, previously at No. 8

Cornell came close to beat Princeton ultimately being defeated by Princeton 3-2 in the ECAC Semifinals on March 20. Ryan Walsh notched a goal and an assist in the effort. The Big Red square up to Denver in the NCAA Tournament Loveland Regional on March 27 at 5pm CT.

No. 10 Penn State University, stays at No. 10

Penn State is gearing up for a date with Minnesota Duluth after a week to decompress. The Nittany Lions battle the Bulldogs in the NCAA Tournament Albany Regional on March 27 at 8pm CT.
