Maryville University — a private university — in Town and Country, Mo., is teasing the prospect of adding a Division I hockey program, Mike McMahon reported last week.

The Saints currently compete at the ACHA level, which is considered as a club sport.

The Chesterfield Planning Commission recently approved a five million dollar project to Maryville's current facilities in hopes of competing at the Division I level in the near future.
