The San Jose Barracuda have signed former Denver goaltender Matt Davis to a deal that runs through the 2025-26 season, it was announced Monday.

Davis, a product of Calgary, Alta., just wrapped up his senior season with the Pioneers, posting a record of 29-10-1 to go along with a 2.07 GAA and a .924 SP. Across a total of 90 career NCAA appearances, Davis collected a statline of 63-17-4, a 2.13 GAA and a .921 SP.

Prior to making the jump to the NCAA, Davis played his junior hockey with the USHL's Green Bay Gamblers and the AJHL's Spruce Grove Saints.

As Davis gets set to turn pro, he has the ability to be a massive addition to the Barracuda. As one of the best goaltenders in the NCAA over the last few seasons, Davis has the ability to make an immediate impact in the AHL and could challenge for NHL games in the future.
