Hildebrand is currently playing for the WHL's Prince Albert Raiders

Prince Albert Raiders goaltender Max Hildebrand has committed to Bemidji State, it was announced Wednesday.

Hildebrand, who hails from Martensville, Sask., is in his final year of junior eligibility with the Raiders. Through 15 appearances in 2024-25, he has collected a record of 6-6-2 to go along with a 3.79 GAA and a .893 SV%.

Drafted by the Raiders in the 13th round of the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft, Hildebrand made his debut with the team in 2021-22 and has since gone on to appear in 103 career WHL regular season games. Over that time span, he has put together a 3.27 GAA, a .895 SV% and a record of 42-43-7.

As Hildebrand makes the jump to the NCAA next year, he will likely be competing for time alongside Raythan Robbins and Trent Wiemken. Part of a surge of WHL players to commit to the NCAA in recent days, Hildebrand should be a solid add for the Beavers.
