

Former New Mexico Ice Wolves defenseman Max Matthews has committed to Michigan Tech, it was announced on Wednesday.
A native of Arlington Heights, Ill., Matthews appeared in 56 regular season games for the Ice Wolves this past season, tallying five goals and 12 assists.
Matthews has played in 157 regular season NAHL games between New Mexico, the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks, and the El Paso Rhinos, recording five goals and 23 assists.
A 2004-born skater, Matthews was previously committed to Lindenwood but will now make the jump to the NCAA and join the Huskies for the 2025-26 season.
