Namestnikov is in his last season of junior hockey with the OHL's Guelph Storm
Guelph Storm forward Max Namestnikov has committed to Bemidji State, it was announced earlier this week.
Namestnikov, a product of Wolverine, Mich., is in his final season of junior eligibility with the Storm. In 42 games this season, he has collected 14 goals and 16 assists for 30 points.
Drafted by the Sarnia Sting in the first round of the 2020 OHL Priority Selection, Namestnikov has put up 93 goals and 88 assists for 181 points in 243 career regular season games.
With Namestnkov making his way to the NCAA, the Beavers will be getting a crafty, skilled playmaker who can make plays in tight areas. Namestnikov should be able to grab a role with Bemidji State right out of the gates and become an important player for the team.
