The sophomore defender played for the Wolverines over parts of two seasons

Michigan defenseman Brendan Miles has entered the transfer portal, it was announced this past week.

The native of Farmington Hills, MI., just finished his sophomore season with the Wolverines, where he was held pointless in six games played.

Over the course of his two seasons at Michigan, Miles dressed for a combined eleven games but received very limited ice time, not registering a point as a result.

Before joining the Wolverines, Miles played his junior hockey for the Fairbanks Ice Dogs of the NAHL. Over two seasons with the team, he had 11 goals and 37 points in 97 games played.

While it is yet to be determined where Miles may be going, it would serve him to go to a school where he can play big minutes. He showed flashes of offensive potential throughout his time in the NAHL and could be a good get for a program willing to take a shot on a player who hasn't seen much NCAA action.
