Minnesota Gophers' forward Charlie Strobel transfers to Colorado College.
After playing two years with the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers, Charlie Strobel has transferred to Colorado College.
Strobel will be entering his Junior season and will now do so as a Colorado College Tiger.
The 22-year-old played in 49 games in his Gophers career. He notched two goals and six points. He recorded his first two colligate goals last year for the Gophers and provided constant physicality in Minnesota's bottom-six.
Strobel's two goals last season were scored against Richter Award winner Kyle McClellan and future teammate Kaidan Mbereko.
Mbereko was a Richter Award finalist after his great season with Colorado College.
Colorado College landed Wisconsin's Brady Cleveland earlier this offseason from the transfer portal and has now landed another physical player in Strobel.
