Sudbury Wolves defenseman Nick De Angelis has committed to New Hampshire, it was announced earlier this week.
De Angelis, who hails from King City, Ont., is in his second season with the Wolves, scoring six goals and adding 29 assists for 35 points in 58 games.
Drafted by the Windsor Spitfires in the second round of the 2020 OHL Priority Selection, De Angelis has appeared in 254 career OHL regular season games across parts of four seasons. In that time, he's collected 15 goals and added 114 assists for 129 points.
Prior to making the jump to the OHL, De Angelis played his minor hockey with the Mississauga Senators, putting up 16 points in 32 games during his U16 year.
With De Angelis heading to join the Wildcats this fall, they will be getting a smooth, puck moving defender who has the capability to create plays for himself and others. De Angelis has the skills required to grab a major role out of the gates and be a difference maker on an nightly basis.
