Former Ferris State goaltender Noah West has signed with the ECHL's Kansas City Mavericks, it was announced last week.

West, a product of Pittsboro, Ind., has already appeared in two games for the Mavericks, posting a record of 2-0-0 to go along with a 2.39 GAA and a .904 SP. Before turning pro, West spent his fifth season of NCAA eligibility with the Bulldogs, collecting a 3.26 GAA and a .901 SP across 35 appearances.

Since joining the NCAA in 2020, West has played for the Bulldogs, Michigan and Robert Morris, putting up a 3.03 GAA and a .905 SP across 65 career appearances. Prior to that, West spent two years with the NAHL's Jamestown Rebels.

As West makes the transition to the pro game, he has already showed what he is capable of with the Mavericks. While it is a small sample size, West performed well in his first time seeing more than 20 NCAA starts and should be able to carry that success through the rest of the season.
