Lindenwood is adding to the coaching staff just before the academic year starts, and what they're adding is a ton of experience and someone who might just be a goalie whisperer.
We’re officially in September and Lindenwood University’s men’s hockey program has added Redmond Brow to its coaching staff ahead of the 2026–27 season. Brow will serve as an assistant coach and Director of Hockey Operations, bringing nearly a decade of coaching experience at the prep, college, and junior hockey levels. His wide range of experience makes him a very important asset as Lindenwood looks to build off of last season.
Brow most recently worked as an assistant coach for the Youngstown Phantoms of the USHL during the 2025–26 season. Before becoming an assistant coach, he spent three seasons scouting for the organization which started in 2022. During that time, he also gained experience with Team Maryland AAA, where he served as head coach and Director of Goaltending from 2023 to 2025. Earlier, during the 2022–23 season, Brow was an assistant coach with the North Iowa Bulls of the NAHL.
Brow also has experience developing young goaltenders. With the Windy City Storm, he worked as an assistant coach and Director of Goaltending and helped the organization reach two USA Hockey National Championship appearances. The Storm also won back-to-back 15U state championships during his time with the program. He worked as an assistant coach at Bemidji State during the 2019–20 season and previously served as a goalie coach at Salve Regina from 2017 to 2019.
Lindenwood head coach Keith Fisher expressed excitement about adding Brow, highlighting his experience, professionalism, and ability to improve both the student-athlete experience and the coaching staff. Brow’s background in player development, scouting, goaltending, and coaching should provide valuable support for the Lions.
The addition comes as Lindenwood prepares to open its 2026 season against Arizona State on October 2 at Centene Community Ice Center. With a big season ahead, any help is great help for the Lions.
