Stanstead College Varsity forward Ryan Dwyer has committed to RPI, it was announced last week.

Dwyer, a product of Orebro, Sweden, has split time this season between Stanstead and the QMJHL's Baie-Comeau Drakkar. Through two games with the Drakkar, Dwyer has gone pointless but he has collected 28 goals and 53 points in 41 games with the Spartans.

Drafted by the Gatineau Olympiques in the sixth round of the 2023 QMJHL Entry Draft, Dwyer was acquired by the Drakkar last summer. Over 94 career regular season games for Stanstead, Dwyer has 84 points.

As Dwyer gets set to join the Engineers in 2026, he will likely be a candidate to make the jump to junior next season, be it with the Drakkar or somewhere else. A competitive and talented player with the puck, Dwyer and his teammate Kamyl Chemrouk will be a solid duo in the NCAA in due time.
