Sacha Boisvert Named NCHC Rookie Of The Month
North Dakota freshman forward and Chicago Blackhawks prospect Sacha Boisvert has been named NCHC Rookie of the Month, it was announced Wednesday.
Drafted by the Blackhawks in the first round of the 2024 NHL Draft, Boisvert collected five goals and eight points over 10 games during the month of November. His tallies for goals and points led NCHC freshmen.
Over the course of the entire regular season thus far, Boisvert has scored six goals and added six assists for 12 points in 15 games. Prior to making the jump to the NCAA and the Fighting Hawks, Boisvert played in the USHL with the Muskegon Lumberjacks.
As Boisvert continues his freshman season, if he hadn't already put his name on the map, he has now. For him to already lead the team in goals and be tied for the lead in points is impressive and it looks as though things will only continue to get better.
