From scoring empty-net goals to winning fights, this scrappy goalie brings flair and finesse to Boston College.

The University of New Hampshire's loss is Boston College's gain. That's because Leo Henriquez has flipped his college commitment from the Wildcats to the Eagles. He announced the change on his Instagram this morning.

Henriquez was a spark plug between the pipes for Green Bay, notching a a .921 save percentage and 2.22 goals against average through 37 contests.  These numbers are a 4.4% increase in save percentage, a 1.79 drop in goals against, plus Henriquez's first two USHL shutouts.

His personality shone through on two distant occasions First Henriquez notched an empty net power play marker from below his own goal line on Feb. 14. The Bratislava native also was in the headlines on Nov. 29, 2025 for a goalie fight that he won decisively, shown below.

It appears Henriquez will join Boston College this fall, based on his April 13 Instagram post captioned "glad to be a part of this. thank you green bay❤️."  Henriquez would join young goaltenders Louka Cloutier, a 2024 5th round pick of Colorado Avalanche and fellow Slovak Jan Korec on the Eagles.
