Muskegon Lumberjacks netminder Shika Gadzhiev has committed to Miami, it was announced earlier this week.
Originally committed to Michigan Tech, Gadzhiev has played 23 regular season games for the Lumberjacks this season, posting a .914 save percentage with three shutouts.
A native of Makhachkala, RUS, Gadzhiev has improved in his second USHL season with Muskegon, having recorded a .901 save percentage and only one shutout in 30 regular season games in 2023-24.
Born in 2004, Gadzhiev stands only at six-foot-two and should be expected to make the jump to Miami at the conclusion of his junior eligibility.
