The St. Louis Blues have signed Minnesota forward Jimmy Snuggerud to a three-year entry-level deal, it was announced Friday.

Snuggerud, who was the Blues first round pick in 2022, just wrapped up his junior season with the Gophers where he scored 24 goals and added 27 assists for 51 points in 40 games. Across 119 career NCAA games, Snuggerud collected 66 goals and 69 assists for 135 points.

Prior to making his way to the Gophers, Snuggerud played his minor hockey with the Minnesota Blades and MN Great Plains as well as for the U.S. NTDP.

With Snuggerud joining the Blues, he should be an immediate impact player for the team. While many thought he would have joined them this past season, Snuggerud decided to return to school for one more season and it looks as though it has paid off.
