Stonehill College defenseman Riley Rosenthal has transferred to Colby College (Div. III), it was announced Monday.

Rosenthal, who hails from Boca Raton, Fla., appeared in three games with the Skyhawks this year, going pointless in the process. Prior to making the jump to the collegiate level, Rosenthal spent parts of three seasons in the USHL (Dubuque Fighting Saints & Omaha Lancers) as well as one season in the NAHL (Odessa Jackalopes).

Over a total of 122 career USHL regular season games, Rosenthal scored three goals and added 13 assists for 16 points. In his one season with the Jackalopes, he put up the same point total (three goals and 16 points) but in 48 regular season games.

With Rosenthal off to the Div. III level, he will be an immediate minute-muncher with the Mules. While he didn't get much of an opportunity at Stonehill, Rosenthal has the talent required to make an impact at both ends of the ice and will be a productive player when he steps out onto the ice at The Jack Kelley Rink.
