Former RIT forward Tanner Andrew has signed with the ECHL's Norfolk Admirals, it was announced earlier this week.

Andrew, a product of Virden, Man., just wrapped up his senior season with the Tigers while serving as captain of the team. Across 34 games, he registered seven goals and nine assists for 16 points.

Since joining RIT in 2021-22, Andrew played in 139 career NCAA games, accumulating 24 goals and 35 assists for 59 points. Throughout his NCAA career, Andrew helped the Tigers be named AHA regular season champions twice (2022-23, 2023-24) as well as an AHA Championship (2023-24).

Prior to making the jump to the NCAA, Andrew played his junior hockey in the MJHL with the Virden Oil Capitals and the Winkler Flyers as well as in the BCHL with the Chilliwack Chiefs.

Although Andrew's offensive production took a step back this year, he has still proven to be a valuable player on and off the ice. With him making the jump to the pro level, Andrew has the puck skills and smarts needed to make an impact for the Admirals.
