Klagenfurt Athletic (EC KAC) defenseman Thomas Klassek has committed to RPI, it was announced last week.

A native of Klagenfurt, AUT, Klassek has played 26 regular season games with EC KAC U20, tallying 38 points (nine goals, 29 assists) in the Austria U20i.

Klassek captained Austria at the 2025 under-20 Division I World Championships, recording a goal and three assists in five games.

A 2005-born skater, Klassek will provide a steady presence and bring international experience to the RPI blue line when he makes the jump to the NCAA level.
