Hinton is suiting up for the NAHL's Maryland Black Bears this year

Maryland Black Bears forward Trey Hinton has committed to Air Force Academy, it was announced this past weekend.
A product of Castle Rock, Colo., Hinton is in his first season of junior hockey with the Black Bears where he has scored three goals and added nine assists for 12 points in 25 games.
Before making the jump to the NAHL, Hinton played for Team Maryland 18U in 2023-24, collecting 82 points in 57 regular season games.
Although Hinton will join the Falcons in 2026, he has made the jump from AAA to juniors look easy. Skilled with the puck, Hinton has the ability to find players through seams and knows how to make himself available as a passing or shooting option.
