Colorado College defenseman Ty Gallagher has signed a two-year deal with the Providence Bruins, it was announced on Wednesday.

In his first season with the Tigers, Gallagher posted 26 points (nine goals, 17 assists) in 37 games. Gallagher spent the first three seasons of his collegiate career with Boston University. He recorded 42 points (eight goals, 34 assists) in 111 games with the Terriers.

A native of Clarkston, MI, Gallagher was selected in the seventh round, 217th overall, by the Boston Bruins in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.

Gallagher will join Providence — the AHL affiliate of Boston — on an amateur tryout (ATO). The two-year contract will begin next season.
