Former RIT forward Tyler Fukakusa has transferred to Northeastern, it was announced earlier this week.

Fukakusa, a product of Toronto, Ont., just wrapped up his sophomore season with the Tigers, scoring nine goals and adding 27 assists for 36 points in 35 games. Across 74 career NCAA games, he has collected 18 goals and 46 assists for 64 points.

Before heading to the NCAA, Fukakusa spent time playing his junior hockey in the OJHL with the Toronto Jr. Canadiens, putting up 193 points in 106 career regular season games while also taking home the OJHL's Most Valuable Player for the 2022-23 season.

With Fukakusa joining the Huskies, they will be getting a dynamic forward who has the ability to create for himself and others. As the Huskies take the ice next season, it would not be a surprise to see Fukakusa among the players leading the charge for the team offensively.
