A product of Rochester, Minn., Haskins just finished his junior season and second with the Mavericks, going pointless in seven games. Over the course of 38 career games with Minnesota State and Denver, Haskins has collected four goals and three assists for seven points.
Prior to making the jump to the collegiate level, Haskins played his junior hockey in the USHL with the Madison Capitols and the Sioux Falls Stampede. Over parts of three seasons, he scored 29 goals and added 43 assists for 72 points in 106 regular season games.
With Haskins heading to join the Lakers, he will likely have the opportunity to play a big role for the team. Having never gotten a full NCAA season under his belt, Haskins will likely be an important offensive contributor as he looks to earn himself a pro deal.
