The leadership group is comprised of three players
The University of Connecticut Huskies released their leadership group for the 2024-25 season Thursday.
Hudson Schandor will wear the 'C' while Tabor Heaslip and John Spetz will take on the role of alternates.
A product of North Vancouver, B.C., Schandor is entering his fifth season with the Huskies. In 2023-24, he scored five goals and added 16 assists for 21 points in 34 games. Over the course of 119 career NCAA games, Schandor has 85 points.
Hailing from Fort Worth, Texas, Heaslip just finished his sophomore season with UConn, collecting eight points in 36 games. Heaslip has 14 points in 71 career NCAA games.
The oldest player who will wear a letter, Spetz is entering his final season of college eligibility in 2024-25. Over four seasons and 129 games with the Huskies, he has collected 11 goals and 36 assists for 47 points.
The Huskies opened up their season versus Colgate on Friday, coming away with the 4-2 victory. The team will take on the Raiders again Saturday night as they look to start their season 2-0.
