Rheaume spent two seasons with the River Hawks

UMass Lowell forward Nick Rheaume has transferred to Northeastern, it was reported this past week.

A product of Sherbrooke, Que., Rheaume appeared in 34 games for the River Hawks this season where he scored nine goals and added four assists for 13 points. Over his two seasons at UMass Lowell, he scored 12 goals and added five assists for 17 points in 61 games.

Before making the jump to the NCAA, Rheaume played two seasons with the Prince George Spruce Kings (BCHL), collecting 73 points in 73 games.

As Rheaume gets set to suit up for the Huskies, he has two years of eligibility remaining. In terms of offensive production, Rheaume has gotten better with each passing season and should be an important contributor.
