Senior forward Carter King had a great performance on Friday, scoring two goals, which was his second multi-goal game this season.
The Pioneers will have a break this weekend before going on a two-game road trip to play Western Michigan.
#3 Minnesota (3)
The Gophers rebounded from their loss to Bemidji State last week by sweeping Notre Dame on the road.
In Friday's game, Minnesota scored three power-play goals, including two by sophomore defenseman Sam Rinzel, and won 6-3. The following night, junior forward Jimmy Snuggerud scored two goals in the second period, helping Minnesota secure the weekend sweep.
This weekend, the Gophers will host Alaska Fairbanks for two games.
#4 Boston College (2)
Boston College played a home-and-home series against Northeastern this past weekend, splitting the two games.
The Eagles secured a 3-0 victory on Friday, with sophomore forward Ryan Leonard scoring two goals and sophomore goaltender Jacob Fowler making 28 saves. Although Leonard scored again on Saturday, Boston College was unable to complete a comeback.
This weekend, the Eagles will have just one game, hosting Dartmouth on Friday night.
#5 Maine
The Black Bears secured a 3-1 victory over New Hampshire in their only game of the weekend.
Maine scored three unanswered goals to finish the game, with Owen Fowler netting the game-winner in the second period.
This upcoming weekend, the Black Bears will travel to RPI for a two-game series.
#6 Michigan
The Wolverines achieved a successful weekend, securing two victories to complete their road sweep against Penn State.
On Friday, Michigan narrowly defeated the Nittany Lions with a score of 6-5, thanks to freshman forward Michael Hage, who scored two goals.
Saturday's game was a high-scoring affair, with Michigan netting ten goals, including four from T.J. Hughes.
Next weekend, the Wolverines will face Western Michigan in a home-and-home series.
#7 Western Michigan
The Broncos won both games against Minnesota Duluth this past weekend, outscoring the Bulldogs 9-3 overall.
Graduate forward Tim Washe contributed significantly by scoring three goals, including two in Saturday's 4-1 victory.
This weekend, Western Michigan will compete in a home-and-home series against Michigan.
#13 Boston University
The Terriers secured a 6-3 victory over Merrimack in their only game of the weekend on Friday.
Boston University scored four times in the third period, highlighted by two goals from freshman sensation Cole Eiserman.
The Terriers and Merrimack will face each other again this weekend to kick off the 2024 Friendship Four in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
#17 Minnesota State
The Mavericks achieved a sweep against Michigan Tech on the road this past weekend.
On Friday, Minnesota State had five different players score, including sophomore forward Luigi Benincasa, who netted his third goal of the season and secured the game-winner.
The following night, junior forward Adam Eisele scored in the third period and contributed to all three of the team's goals.
The Mavericks will be idle this weekend before hosting Bowling Green for two games.
