

Bourget College U18 forward Victor Morrissette-Richer has committed to Union College, it was announced late last week.
A product of Outremont, Que., Morrissette-Richer just finished his first season with the team, collecting 13 goals and 15 assists for 28 points in 24 regular season games. Having also gotten into five playoff games, Morrissette-Richer put up two assists.
Drafted by the Moncton Wildcats in the fourth round of the 2024 QMJHL Entry Draft, Morrissette-Richer spent his draft-eligible season playing for College Notre-Dame M18 D1, scoring 12 goals and adding 18 assists for 30 points in 25 games.
With Morrissette-Richer not heading to the NCAA for another couple years, he will have a strong chance to make an impact in the QMJHL before then. A skilled player who does a good job finding open space in the slot, Morrissette-Richer has the skills required to make a difference on the scoresheet.
