

Blainville-Boisbriand Armada forward Vincent Desjardins has committed to Nebraska Omaha, it was announced earlier this week.
Desjardins, who is in his second full season in the QMJHL, has been stellar for the Armada this year where he has collected 18 goals and 63 assists for 81 points in 64 games.
Drafted by the Armada in the second round of the 2022 QMJHL Entry Draft, Desjardins has scored 37 goals and added 98 assists for 135 points in 146 career QMJHL regular season games.
A product of Mirabel, Que., Desjardins played his minor hockey for Nord Selects Bantam and the Saint-Eustache Vikings before heading to Blainville-Boisbriand.
With Desjardins taking a massive step forward in his game this year, he has certainly impressed those around the hockey world. Scheduled to join the Mavericks next fall, Desjardins will be bringing a dynamic skillset along with him to the NCAA.
