New Jersey Rockets 18U forward Vincenzo Capano has committed to Army, it was announced last week.

Capano, a product of Allendale, N.J., has split time this season between the Rockets and the NAHL's Lone Star Brahmas. While he's been held pointless in six games with the Brahmas, Capano has four goals and 10 points in 10 games with New Jersey.

Drafted by the Brahmas in the fourth round of the 2024 NAHL Entry Draft, Capano spent 2023-24 playing with the Rockets and high school hockey for Northern Highlands High.

With Capano scheduled to join Army in 2026, he will likely make the jump to the NAHL full time next season. As someone who has shown to be a difference maker at the 18U level, it's time for Capano to transition to juniors to continue to hone his skills before heading to the NCAA.
