Former Victoria Grizzlies forward Seamus Latta has committed to Princeton, it was announced last week.

Latta, who hails from Bozeman, Mont., split time last season between the Grizzlies and the USHL's Omaha Lancers. While he went pointless in two USHL games, Latta scored 13 goals and added 18 assists for 31 points in 44 BCHL regular-season games. With Victoria having made the playoffs, Latta added five points in 13 games.

Prior to making the jump to the junior level, Latta spent his time playing for Salisbury (USHS-Prep), putting up 47 points across 76 career games.

With Latta heading off to join the Tigers, he will look to build off a strong season of junior hockey. While he had less junior experience than others, Latta proved he could create his own scoring chances and will be relied upon to do the same at Princeton.
