Frank has been key in the Hershey Bears making a run to their second straight Western Conference Finals

Former Western Michigan Broncos forward Ethen Frank has been key for the AHL's Hershey Bears this postseason.
As the Bears currently hold a 2-0 series lead in the Western Conference Finals over the Cleveland Monsters, Frank has been a major leader for the Bears on the ice.
Currently sitting fifth in AHL playoff points, Frank has scored seven goals and added two assists for nine points in eight games. While he had an impressive AHL sophomore season with 47 points, Frank has saved his best for when it has mattered most.
Frank sits second in the AHL and first on the Bears for playoff goals this postseason, depositing the puck in the back of the net at important times.
Throughout his time as a Bronco, Frank was known for the same thing. Regularly putting up more goals than assists in a season, he had an impressive 26 goals in 38 games in his final season as a Bronco.
While he last suited up for the Broncos in 2021-22, Frank has made a seamless transition to the professional level and could be a call-up option for the Washington Capitals as soon as next season if he chooses to re-sign with the team.
If the Bears are to repeat as Calder Cup champions, Frank will be a major driving force into making that happen.
