    Minnesota junior forward Brody Lamb was named to the Big Ten Hockey's Three Stars of the Week after recording four goals, including a natural hat trick this past weekend.

    Brody Lamb (NYR) has been named Big Ten Hockey's Second Star of the Week for the second time in his career.

    The junior forward tallied four goals, including a natural hat trick in the University of Minnesota's two-game sweep over St. Thomas this past weekend.

    Lamb's third-period tally was part of seven straight goals for Minnesota in their 7-1 win on Friday.

    He tallied three straight goals, all on the power play, in Saturday's 6-2 win to complete the weekend sweep.

    Lamb is up to eight points on five goals and three assists with a +3 plus/minus rating for No. 4-ranked Minnesota.

    First Star: Sam Rinzel, D (Minnesota)

    Rinzel takes home the second Big Ten Hockey weekly honors of his career.

    The Chicago Blackhawks draft pick recorded a five-point weekend to help the Gophers take both games against St. Thomas.

    Rinzel tallied two goals and three points in Friday's 7-1 win. The following night, the sophomore defenseman picked up a pair of primary helpers.

    He is up to four goals and five assists, making his nine points the second-most on Minnesota's roster through the first six games.

    Third Star: Tanner Kelly, F (Michigan State)

    Kelly posted a four-point weekend in Michigan State's two-game sweep over Canisius this past weekend.

    The senior forward tallied a goal and an assist in both games on five combined shots.

    Kelly is up to five points on two goals and three assists through his first six games.
