- The men's U-18 World Championships are underway in Switzerland. Team USA consists mainly of players from the USA Hockey Development Program, and they easily won their first game against Latvia on Thursday. Canada did not do so well against Sweden, but they do have the Chicago Steel's Macklin Celebrini on the team.
- Who are the top prospects to watch from the USHL and NCAA heading into the NHL draft? The final NHL Central Scouting draft rankings were released earlier in the week, and there are plenty of American pipeline talents who could go in the first round.
- What is happening with Minnesota State and Wisconsin's recruits now that they have coaching changes?
- The Tampa Bay Lightning have eight drafted prospects in the NCAA and USHL, including 2022 first-rounder Isaac Howard.
