The Colorado Avalanche are struggling for a reason.
I've been criticized a few times this year by Avs fans for live reporting every key moment of the game.
This story that I posted this morning highlights the importance of my style on Twitter. It's important to note when there's a defensive breakdown, an odd-man rush, a turnover. Every play is a part of the story. And when you don't have every part of the story, you're missing out.
The defensive struggles of the Avalanche have been there all season, but sometimes it's hard to notice when your offensive is producing at a historically high clip. Now that the offense has been cooling off, the flaws are very evident, and Scott Wedgewood, as brilliant as he's been all season, can't bail them out on every goal.
