Assistant coach Marc Savard has been relieved of his duties, according to the Toronto Maple Leafs on X.

Savard was first hired by the Leafs ahead of the 2024-25 campaign and he was well-known for managing the team's power play. The Leafs' power play percentage is currently dead last among the NHL's 32 teams at a 13.3.
