On last Friday's episode of The Hockey News Big Show, Michael Traikos mentioned the Oilers as having the most underwhelming trade deadline.

I'm going with the Montreal Canadiens because they didn't upgrade their second-line center. Some may suggest they didn't get any goalie insurance either, although I don't think the options out there (besides Sergei Bobrovsky) would have been a guaranteed upgrade. That said, the Habs are still early in their competitive window, so they didn't need to go all-in and potentially overpay for a second-last center.
