The Ottawa Senators are in the second wild-card spot in the East for now after beating the Detroit Red Wings 3-2 on Tuesday.

They and the Toronto Maple Leafs were tied in points in the standings at the Olympic break, so the Sens did have to make up quite a bit of ground.
