Cizikas is a regular at practice.

Islanders Beat Leafs

EAST MEADOW, NY -- New York Islanders forward Casey Cizikas was a full participant at practice on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old suffered a lower-body injury on Jan. 9 against the Vancouver Canucks, landing first on injured reserve before being transferred to long-term injured reserve Sunday to allow for the activation of defenseman Ryan Pulock.

Cizikas returned to practice Sunday in a non-contact jersey, wearing that Monday morning in Toronto, as well, before the off day on Tuesday.

He is eligible to be activated ahead of Thursday's 8 PM game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, as long as a roster spot and cap space is created to fit his $2.5 million on the books.

The likely move is sending center call-up Kyle MacLean (waiver-exempt) and his $800,000 to Bridgeport.
