Sidney Crosby recorded three assists on April 17, 2006, to break the record for the youngest NHL player to score 100 points in a season.

Here's today's NHL Nugget – this Weekend's Way Back When heads back 20 years to April 17, 2006, and a 6-1 win for the Pittsburgh Penguins over the New York Islanders.

This wasn't some ordinary blowout. It was a night of history for Sidney Crosby, who recorded three assists, including his 100th point of the season. He was 18 years and 253 days old at the time.
