Dick Duff, who won the Stanley Cup six times with the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens, grew up playing outdoors in Kirkland Lake, Ont.

Here's today's NHL Nugget – this edition of Shinny or Nothing looks at Hockey Hall of Fame left winger Dick Duff.

Before playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs, New York Rangers, Montreal Canadiens, Los Angeles Kings and Buffalo Sabres between 1955 and 1971, Duff was in Kirkland Lake, Ont., playing outdoors, he told NHL.com.
