Many new players have entered the Toronto Maple Leafs' lineup this season with the expectation of being difference-makers, but it's a familiar face in Easton Cowan that's arguably stood out the most through the team's opening two games.
One of the reasons the Toronto Maple Leafs cratered last season, and there were many, was that their bottom-six forwards were almost a complete non-factor when it came to producing offense.
That needed to change. And if early results are any indicator, they have.
