ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Anaheim Ducks signed left-winger Matt Beleskey to a two-year contract extension through the 2012-13 season Friday.

Beleskey had 11 goals and seven assists in 60 games as a rookie last season for the Ducks.

He scored his first NHL goal Jan. 5 in his 24th career game. But he finished the season strong while playing on multiple lines in the absence of injured scorer Joffrey Lupul.

The former fourth-round pick made his NHL debut in January 2009. Beleskey will open training camp with the Ducks on Saturday.
