What was earlier this season thought to be unfathomable is very much a possibility the way McDavid has been playing lately. A thousand career points are on the horizon for McDavid, and with 25 points in the final 10 games of the season, he can absolutely do it.
In fact, he just got 25 points in his last 10 games. Nine of those games were multi-point games. And the more McDavid scores, the better the Oilers' chances of winning games. And the more games they win, the better chance they'll have to overtake the Vancouver Canucks for first place in the Pacific Division, something that seemed impossible when they got off to a 2-9-1 start.
