I know my hometown team is about to win another Stanley Cup, but shouldn't the NHL be concerned, worried and upset their "dream" matchup for the final is fizzling simply because the Red Wings are too dominant in every facet of the game?
People from elsewhere won't be interested in such a one-sided series and will be disappointed superstars like Sidney Crosby aren't getting any room from the blue collar Wings who don't let their feet off the gas at any moment.
Being a winning team is great, but it can't be good for the future growth of the NHL if the final is all about one team being dominant.
Heck, I live in Detroit and I'm already bored because the result is a foregone conclusion. The Harry Truman special on PBS was pretty good.
