Carolina (13-12-3) at Philadelphia (14-7-6), 7:00 pm EST

PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- It's been over a month since the

Philadelphia Flyers lost in regulation at the Wachovia Center.

The Flyers will attempt to keep that streak going when they take

on the Carolina Hurricanes for the fourth time in 16 days on

Thursday.

Simon Gagne snapped a tie midway through the third period with a

power-play goal on Tuesday, leading Philadelphia to a 4-3

triumph over the New York Islanders.

Jeff Carter notched his league-leading 20th goal, Darroll Powe

netted the first of his career and former Islander Arron Asham

also scored for the Flyers, who improved to 5-0-2 in their last

seven home games and 10-1-3 in their last 14 contests overall.

Philadelphia, which posted a 2-1 overtime win over the

Hurricanes on Saturday, has not lost at the Wachovia Center

since dropping a 2-1 decision to the Tampa Bay Lightning on

November 8.

All seven of the Flyers' home wins over that stretch have been

by one goal, including four that have gone beyond regulation.

Carolina snapped a three-game losing streak with a 3-1 triumph

over the Washington Capitals on Sunday. Michael Leighton, who

is filling in for the injured Cam Ward, made 38 saves in to pick

up his first win since November 7.

The 27-year-old Leighton is 5-5-1 with a 2.88 goals-against

average and .902 save percentage.
