The municipality of Brossard, just across the Champlain Bridge from Montreal, has approved a plan to build a practice rink at a new sports and fitness centre.
The Canadiens currently bus players to practice at neighbourhood rinks in Montreal when the Bell Centre is in use for concerts and other events.
